ACCESSING THE HEAVENLY THRONE ROOM

The door to the Throne Room is open (Rev 4:1-2, Heb 4:16, Rom 5:2, Esther 2:17-18, 4:11-16)

Intro

  • The prophetic message I have for you is that you must move from palace privileges to the Throne Room.
  • Many of us like Esther think that God called us for palace privileges.
  • God chose Esther to be queen of Persia in order to save the nation of Israel.
  • She was not there for beauty treatments, good food and other luxuries.
  • Mordecai’s request and challenge prompted Esther to access the king in his Throne Room.
  • Esther promises to BREAK PROTOCOL, IF I PERISH I PERISH (Same applies to the woman with issue of blood,  blind Bartimeus and four friends with their lame friend).

1) The throne room is a place of favour
  • Grace is the absolute basis of our relationship with God
  • Grace alone entitles us to God’s blessings
  • Grace is the acronym of God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense
  • It is not about your degrees, credentials and social status
  • Esther managed to access the throne because of the king’s favour.
  • Mary was highly favoured to birth the Christ
  • You want favour in your life, then access the throne room
  • You are highly favoured to minister the word of God
  • It is not by might nor by power but by the spirit of God
2) The throne room is a place of transformation
  • John says, when I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead
  • Ezekiel fell facedown when he saw the glory of the Lord
  • Isaiah realized his unworthiness as a man
  • Peter did not know what to say when Jesus was transfigured
  • Paul on the Damascus road fell down and became speechless
  • When you encounter God you will never be the same again
  • You will tell what you saw and what you heard
  • Boldness is a result of transformation
  • Ability to say NO CONFORMITY NO COMPROMISE (Rom 12:2) is a result of transformation
3) The throne room is a place of spiritual intelligence
  • In the natural intelligence organisations work with a head of state to ensure state security
  • These spies have privileged information
  • They promise to keep official secrets
  • In the spiritual we access God’s secrets in the throne room
  • Not all that we are told in the throne room is for public consumption
  • We need spiritual intelligence to make informed decisions
  • We need spiritual intelligence to run the Church
  • We need spiritual intelligence to run our personal lives
  • We need spiritual intelligence to discern the devil’s schemes
4) The throne room is a place of commissioning
  • Isaiah was commissioned in the throne room
  • Jeremiah was commissioned in the throne room
  • Paul was commissioned in the throne room (heavenly vision)
  • The apostolic mandate is a divine directive
  • We have kingdom authority to destroy the works of the devil
  • We have kingdom authority to preach the gospel
  • We have kingdom authority to heal the sick
  • We have kingdom authority to establish God’s divine order
  • We have kingdom authority to make disciples

5) The throne room is a place of worship

  • Worship is about giving high value
  • Worship is about giving reverence
  • Worship is about giving special honour
  • Worship is about glorifying and magnifying
  • Worship is about offering of adoration
  • Worship is about ascribing greatness
  • Worship revolves around relationship
  • Worship forms include bowing down, prostration, raising hands, clapping hands, dancing, speaking and singing hymns and psalms
