THE WINDOW OF HOPE (Genesis 8:6)

19 Jul

When Noah was building the ark, God instructed him to make a small window. Little did Noah know that he was making a window of hope. Did you know that life can bring ravaging experiences that you end up becoming hopelessly hopeless. Noah spent a long time during the floods without opening this small window. How many of us are struggling in our restrictive environments? How many of us have come to accept as normal that which is abnormal? However one day Noah decided to open this small window for the first time. When the challenges of this world pull you down, I urge you to look up. Hebrews says, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. In every human being God has placed a small window of hope which awaits each of us to open it. Instead of worrying and wailing about your situation, stand up and open the small window of hope. What appeared to be an insignificant small window in the architectural design of an ark, ended up becoming a significant tool in the future of Noah and all the people and animals with him in the ark. Through that window he was able to observe the outside environment. Through that window he was able to send the dove to check whether the land had dried up. The difference between what you are and what you can become is a small window of hope. There is a small window of hope awaiting you to open it. May the window of hope bring a difference in your life.
