VISIBILITY (Genesis 8:5)

19 Jul

When Noah’s ark landed on Mount Ararat, the Bible records that the tops of mountains became visible. In the midst of mists and storms of life the biggest challenge we get is the ability to see clearly. Our view of ourselves becomes blurred.
Our view of other people becomes blurred. Our view of God becomes blurred. Everything around us becomes blurred. Having undergone a corneal graft surgery of my right eye, I have a better appreciation of the gift of sight. In the motoring world, the greatest cause of accidents is POOR VISIBILITY. The word “VISIBILITY” is a meteorological term meaning the ability to see clearly. How we see people determines how we treat them. The blind man who underwent two stages of restoration of sight, initially he saw people like trees walking. After a second touch from the Lord, he saw every person clearly. How many of us see other human beings like trees walking? No wonder we treat other people like trees i.e. as if they have no feelings. Just like the Laodecean Church we need EYE SALVE to anoint our eyes so that we may see clearly (Rev. 3:18). May everything which blurs your vision recede. May those things that were hidden from you become visible. I declare VISIBILITY over your life so that you do not only see your future clearly but that others may see you clearly.
