THE SEVEN INGREDIENTS OF AUTHENTIC VISITATION PART 7

16 Nov

In our endeavour to have authentic visitation we have so far established the following six ingredients of authentic visitation namely:
1. You have to want/crave/desire to be visited

2. You have to create a conducive atmosphere for visitation

3. God visits you in the place of assignment

4. Each visit is intentional i.e. Its purpose driven

5. God demands a reaction from us (Your reaction matters)

6. There must be tangible results of visitation
In this seventh and last ingredient of authentic visitation I propose that there are THREE LEVELS OF VISITATION. These could be equated to the three levels of water which was coming from the Temple indicating that every visitation should originate from God (Ezekiel 47:1-12). The first level was UNKLE-DEEP and I call it the PEAK EXPERIENCE level. The second level was KNEE-DEEP and I call it the HABITATION EXPERIENCE level. The third level was WAIST-DEEP and I call it the HARPAZO EXPERIENCE level. With these three levels, our Christian lives shall thrive rather than just survive as observed by Ezekiel. Further reading of this chapter shows us the effects of this water to the surrounding environment. The river banks had a great number of trees on every side. Furthermore when the same water went into the Dead Sea salty water became fresh and created an atmosphere where sea life was rejuvenated thus give new opportunities for fishermen to spread their nets for a catch. The fruit trees of all kinds produced fruit on a monthly basis because of the water from the Sanctuary. More so their fruit served as food and their leaves were for healing. Could it be that there are so many fringe benefits of authentic visitation?
1. THE PEAK EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Christian life should generally be like someone walking on a plateau i.e. Higher ground life and walk with God. But once in a while when God visits you, you will have a Peak Experience. This is usually a blissful ecstatic experience which leaves you with a feeling that you have encountered God in a special way. Such an experience is by nature unforgettable. Every Christian should desire to have this experience because it keeps the fire burning. Job 10:12 says, THOU HAST GRANTED ME LIFE AND FAVOUR, AND THY VISITATION HATH PRESERVED MY SPIRIT. May Peak Experience be your portion.
2. THE HABITATION EXPERIENCE LEVEL
This level of visitation is usually a product of MULTIPLE VISITATIONS. This is when visitation becomes a regular experience. I am persuaded to further propose that such experiences tend to happen in a CORPORATE setting. Whenever we gather for worship in our local Churches, we should always anticipate CORPORATE VISITATION. When it comes to HABITATION EXPERIENCE WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER. The Psalmist (22:3) supports this view by saying, THE LORD INHABITS THE PRAISES OF HIS PEOPLE. Our God has a tendency of making every place where his name is praised his HABITAT. Could it be that is the reason why God told Ezekiel (48:35) that Jerusalem the CITY OF PEACE was also going to be called JEHOVAH SHAMMAH thus make it the CITY OF HABITATION/PRESENCE. The Lord who had departed (ICHABOD) from

his people was now going to make Jerusalem his HABITATION. MAY WORSHIP FEATURE HIGHLY ON OUR CHURCH PROGRAMMES. MAY HABITATION EXPERIENCE BE YOUR PORTION.
3. THE HARPAZO EXPERIENCE LEVEL
In levels one and two, its God who does the visiting but with HARPAZO its you who now visits the THRONE ROOM of God in visions and revelations and in body or out of body. This experience has been coined from the Greek word HARPAZO which means to be caught up, to be abducted, to catch away, to snatch, to pluck, to seize or to carry away. This is the same terminology which Jesus uses when he says, FROM THE DAYS OF JOHN THE BAPTIST UNTIL NOW, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN SUFFERS VIOLENCE, AND THE VIOLENT TAKE/HARPAZO IT BY FORCE/HARPAZO (Matthew 11:12). The second coming of Jesus Christ shall be the GREATEST HARPAZO EXPERIENCE. Paul tells the Christian Community in Thessalonica about this coming HARPAZO, ‘Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP/HARPAZO together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so we shall be with the Lord forever’ (1Thessalonians 4:17). I believe that you can have a HARPAZO TASTE in the now so that when the eschatological event happens, you will not be taken by surprise. Ezekiel was carried by the hair of his head between the earth and heaven, hence HARPAZO EXPERIENCE (8:3). Paul was also caught up into the third heaven (2Corinthians 12:2-4). The Apostle John was actually invited to the throne room by way of an open door in heaven and a voice which called him COME UP HERE AND I WILL SHOW YOU THINGS TO COME (Revelation 4:1-2). Harpazo experience is like having JOURNEYS INTO THE SPIRIT REALM OR GOD’S ABODE. HARPAZO EXPERIENCE GIVES YOU ACCESS TO THE THRONE ROOM.
May I conclude by saying that when you get the THREE-IN-ONE PACKAGE I CALL IT PEHEHE!!!

This is an acronym for: Peak

                                     Experience

                                     Habitation

                                     Experience

                                     Harpazo

                                     Experience

ASK OF THE LORD FOR PEHEHE IN THE SEASON OF PEHEHE. MAY PEHEHE GIVE YOU UNSTOPPABLE MOMENTUM INTO YOUR THRIVING SEASON. MAY PEHEHE BE YOUR PORTION IN JESUS’ NAME.
